How long does it take for automatic bill payments to take effect?
It may take more than one cycle for charges to appear on your Card. We recommend that you continue paying your bills until the supplier informs you that your bill is being charged to your American Express Card. Often, this is indicated on your suppliers bill as “Paid”, in the amount due section of your statement.
