How long does it take for Automatic Bill Payment to take effect?
It may take up to three billing cycles for charges to appear on your Card. We recommend that you continue paying your bills until your service provider informs you that your bill has been charged to your American Express Card. Often, this is indicated on your provider’s bill as Paid, in the amount due section of your statement.
