Airmail delivery is NOT courier service. In my experience it takes anywhere from 5-15 business days (1-3 weeks) from CANADA to the USA Bad weather, holiday seasons, and customs inspection can delay the delivery of mail. Mail headed outside of the USA or Canada sometimes takes a bit longer. If you are located in the USA or Canada and desire faster service I suggest Xpress Post for speedier delivery.
