How long does it take for a lip piercing to heal?
Well you piercing your own lip was just stupid to be honest. Just hope you did it correctly and that it’s not crooked or else it will cause problems to your gums and teeth. I’ve done my own lip before and it hurts wayyy more than getting I got it done professionally. Plus, there is a greater chance that it will get infected. When I got it done my lip didn’t swell until the next day and it didn’t hurt until probably the second day. My lip completely healed in about 2 wks. It’s different for everyone tho. Like, my brother got his lip done the same day that I did and his didn’t heal for about 4 wks. If you swelled up a lot then it’ll take you longer to heal but if you didn’t swell much like me then you’ll probably heal fast. You should have a stud in your lip. For me it helped it heal faster and it’s less noticeable than a hoop. Also, clean it with dial soap at least 2 times a day. I did it when I woke up and before I went to bed.
