If you have to ship the computer and wait for repairs, this reduces the time you have with the computer and the warentee time. Do they compensate you for the lost time by extending the warentee period. And what about the time you do not have the computer. Are you going to have the system disk or is it already installed. If installed, how do you make a system disk or backup. Do you have phone support, live chat, or FAQs (frequently asked questions.). Do you get a manual or is it on disk. If the computer has problems, how can you access the manual or instructions. Do you need to make a printed copy (expensive in paper and ink – I know by experience) of the manual for emergencies. If they have instructions on the internet, does it include pictures. As far as a dell laptop, I have one and some limitations are their software only work
