How long does it take for a Bull Snake to get full grown?
The growth rate of a snake is almost entirely dependent on how much you feed it. While it is possible to “power feed” a snake and get it to breeding size in a year and a half (popular with commercial breeders), doing so results in health problems and a shortened life expectancy. Experienced keepers have found that snakes live much longer when they’re slightly “underfed”, however, you certainly don’t want to starve them either. Feed your snake once a week or so, gradually increasing the size of the prey as it grows. As you become more experienced, you will be able to tell when your snake is hungry, too heavy, too thin, etc.
