How long does it take Dipetane to show improvement?
This is a very important point. In order to see the full benefit of Dipetane, the carbon deposits need to be removed from the combustion chamber. In a diesel engine with several hundred thousand miles, this can take 6,000 miles to perform. Dipetane will typically show an immediate improvement of about 2% to 6%, which is sometimes difficult to see due to variations in fuel economy from tank to tank. However, the improvement after clean up of between 10% and 15% is much more noticeable. In gasoline engines, improvement will be seen in a few tanks full.
