How long does it take by cab to get from la guardia airport to park central hotel?
Sorry, I live 4 blocks from LaGuardia and work not that far from the Park Central. I’ve had occasion to take a cab in and even on your best day there’s no way you’re getting to midtown from LaGuardia in 10 minutes unless your cab driver is doing 80 MPH all the way. In good traffic it can take 25 minutes and cost about 24 dollars plus tip and in bad traffic the sky’s the limit on time and the price. And that’s only if congestion pricing (currently in negotiation by NYC local government) doesn’t go into effect by the time you get here. If it does, it may cost as much as 8 dollars more on top of that. Why take a cab when public transportation will get you there for 1/10th of the cost? Take the Q33 bus from the Delta/Northwest, Us Air or the Main terminals or the Q48 from all terminals to the last stop to Roosevelt Avenue and go downstairs and take the Manhattan-bound R train to the 57th Street station.
