How long does it normally take to get a black belt in taekwondo?
It takes as long as it takes. No reputable school will say how long it takes. Some people simply should never be black belts. People progress at different rates. NOTE: in a traditional school you should never ask when you can test. It is considered very rude. Some schools will warn you if you do. Some will simply kick you out. Students shouls be concerned about what they are learning and can do. Belts should bnever be what you are concerned about. Even high ranks mean nothig fi the person holding the rnak is no good.
