How long does frozen meat last?
Frozen stuff – so long as it was frozen from freshly bought/freshly cooked immediately before freezing it will keep for ages and ages so long as the temperature’s been kept at or below minus 18C. I’ve eaten stuff out of my freezer which had been there for two years and it was impossible to tell that it had been in suspended animation for all that time. It tasted the same as if frozen last week and I suffered no ill effects whatsoever from eating it. That “Use within one month of freezing” is nothing more than a marketing ploy so that you’ll go and buy fresh ones when there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the ones you have ! ! !
