How long does frozen bacon last?
My local news station went through the things that get pushed to the back of the fridge, freezer, and cabinets last night on the news. I found the story on their webpage… here is the short of it. I will put the link at the bottom. Uncooked steaks and roasts can last four months to a year, uncooked burgers up to four months, and bacon or sausage retain their quality for just a month or two Federally graded, fresh eggs are safe for up to five weeks after the expiration date on the carton Canned foods do not last forever either. Get rid of tomatoes, peaches and other high-acid foods after 18 months. Canned meats and vegetables can last from two to five years, if they are stored properly. Ground spices can be kept for two to three years, whole spices three or four years. Herbs last one to three years. As for leftovers, they should be refrigerated within two hours because bacteria multiplies quickly at room temperature. If it were my bacon, it would be on it’s way to hog heaven. Hope this
