How long does Depo Provera birth control side effects last?
I got the depo provera shot in the beginning of February, so technically the three months that it’s in effect has been over for a few weeks now. However I am still spotting, and have been for at least a month and a half, spotting where it’s practically like having my period. Is this normal? I’m a little worried… Also- I’m 18 and this was my first time on birth control. A: Depo’s effects last for 18 months. It takes hold of all of you hormones and goes wild. Don’t use any form of b/c that uses hormones. This includes the pill. The pill is what causes much of the breast cancers that we are seeing today, along with the high use of soy. Good luck.
