How long does coffee remain fresh?
Coffee tastes best if consumed 7-10 days after it was roasted. However, our coffee is packaged immediately after roasting in heat sealed foil bags with one-way degassing valves. This allows carbon dioxide to escape, but does not allow oxygen in (exposure to oxygen is what causes coffee to stale). This type of packaging will keep coffee fresh until you open the bag, even if that is weeks from the time you purchased it. After opening, use the ziplock feature to keep it fresh.
