How long does an international student have to wait to be accepted into a program at Assiniboine Community College?
We begin the acceptance process in approxmately October of each year. Once we have received your application, application fee, and all your official documents, you should know in a few weeks whether your application will be accepted. However, missing documentation can delay the process for weeks or even months. Also, because we need to send official, original letters through the mail to attach to your study permit application, the mailing time can add weeks to the process. For this reason, we encourage students to apply six months or more before the program starts, the deadline for applications from outside of Canada is April 1 each year.
