How long does an Au Pair stay?
Most Au Pairs are available for 6-12 months depending on the time of year they start. They are also lots of candidates available for shorter placements, particularly in the summer. It can be more difficult to find an Au Pair for a year if this covers two school years – many candidates are available until the summer, regardless of when they started as they often have plans from September onwards (university, college etc). It is however still possible to find an Au Pair for a long duration at any time but the process might take a little longer and the choice won’t be as varied.
