How long does a Willcheck® or Genecheck test take and how can I check on its progress?

From the time we receive the samples from you or your solicitor, the test will take around 5 to 10 working days. We will keep you informed of progress if for some reason we cannot meet the above target. We cannot discuss results over the telephone, but can give an indication of where your samples are in the system if you are one of the parties being tested and if you can give us the case reference number. When your sample has been safely stored, we will send to you a confirmatory letter and laminated certificate detailing when the sample was processed and where it is stored. We shall send this letter to all those from whom we have received a consent form. However, we shall only deal in other correspondence with the individual making the payment via the secure server or the person who has signed the cheque. Your results will be dispatched by first class post (or courier if you require it – extra charges will apply).
