How long does a web site take to build?

It depends. If you want a site that is simple and you already have content to put on it, it doesn’t take long at all, a couple of weeks at most. If you want our content development and a lot of custom programming, custom photography or custom illustration it will take around 3 months. We use a project management system so you can track our progress. We tend to do more of the custom type of work, which takes longer. If you want it to not take as long but still have a lot of special parameters, we can hire trusted contractors to assist and it will simply cost more. Generally the biggest time gobblers come with content development and programming/integration with other software. The other big one is having groups (a board or committee) sign off and approve content. So if you want something quickly, you do need to be aware of that and plan for it.

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
