How long does a UK trade mark registration last for?
It lasts For 10 years : However it can be renewed for another 10 years, but you must remember to re-new it at the right time, because if you don’t pay your renewal fee on time, your mark will expire,but you will be allowed an extra 6 months from the renewal date in which your be able to re-new your registration, but then you will have to pay a fee for late renewal, after this 6 months, there is a further 6 month period. I.E, total of up to one year after the renewal date, where upon you may apply to register your mark.
