How long does a Russian translation take?
The time a Russian translation takes is clearly related to its complexity, specialisation and the type of translation needed. As a rule of thumb, allow 2,000–2,500 words a day: we can often work more quickly, but translations can also proceed more slowly than the rate quoted here. As soon as you send us information about your project, we’ll evaluate the task and assess the time that will be needed to deliver the Russian translation to you. Before we start, we’ll give you a schedule for the work we’re going to carry out, so you’ll know where you stand on delivery. The golden rule with translations is: the more time available to the translator, the better the finished translation will be.
