How long does a remote backup take to complete?
Obviously it depends how much data is being backed up. But, on a typical night, with the type of good broadband internet connection that most companies rely on, your backup will be done in under 15 minutes. Your initial backup could take several nights to complete, as all files are backed up the first time. SureSafe offers our clients “backup to disk” service for this initial backup. Following setup, we will backup your critical data to disk, or to a flash drive, and then manually install it on our secure servers, just as if you had sent it to us via your internet connection. This way, you can get started sooner with regular incremental backups – a process that happens nightly, in the background, and with no manual intervention on your part.
