How long does a refund take to process when we use the virtual terminal? Does it depend on the banks policy?

If the funds are available in your Optimal Payments account, the refund will be processed within 24 hours. However, if the refund is larger than the amount of money you have available in your Optimal Account, you will need to either “fund” the Optimal account by processing more charges (totaling at least the refund amount) or by calling Optimal directly when you wish to run the refund so that they can temporarily turn off overdraft.
