How Long Does A Propane Bottle Last?
A 1-pound propane bottle lasts about 2 hours on low setting and about 1 hour on high setting, which provides ample time to cook a meal. To prevent line freezing at high flow rates, small bottles are placed in an inclined or titled position to increase LP surface area inside the bottle. The Mighty Grill may also use a 20-pound propane bottle when using a standard (Type 1) connector-regulator available from most hardware stores and home imporvement centers. The Type 1 regulator hose fits the 3/8″ nipple of our gas model grills. Many RVers connect the Mighty Grill directly to their on-board LP supply. The propane Mighty Grill also serves as an excellent outdoor heater.
