How Long Does a PHPAC Letter Service File Remain Active?
If you open your file in the calendar year 2006, your file will remain active until January 2011. If you open your file in the calendar year 2007, your file will remain active until January 2012. If you find you need to reapply, there is an additional $175 fee. This fee covers another Committee interview, an additional 15 mailouts and maintaining your file for an additional time period. Check with a staff member for the new expiration date of your file. Inactive files are purged and destroyed. It is your responsibility to keep track of when your file expires; we will not contact you. A fee of $20 per year is required to keep your file active beyond the initial expiration date. The extension year starts on your file’s expiration date. Please notify us no later than one month prior to your file’s expiration date if you plan to renew it.
