If the processing department at your bank isn’t behind you should be able to close pretty quickly once you’re approved. I was pre approved like you. I was able to close within 14 days of signing my offer. I had to my lease was up and I had to move. You need to contact the seller as well and possibly offer a some $$ for their time in waiting. Remember every 30 days they have another mortgage payment as well. If you wait to long you’ve cost them at least that much. If they’ve already moved out then they are likely making two payments and can’t afford their old house anymore.
