How long does a desk review take?
The local social services district must issue a determination in writing within 45 days of the date of receipt of a request form or within 75 days if another district/state needed to be contacted for information. This determination must be sent to you by first class mail and must include a copy of any worksheet used as part of the review process and documentation considered in the desk review.
