How long does a CRB check take?
The CRB aims to process 90% of Standard checks in 10 days and 90% of Enhanced checks in 4 weeks; however, there is a small amount of checks that can take 4 to 8 weeks. If you have the application reference number and your date of birth then you can track the form online by visiting www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk and clicking on the ‘track single application’ quick link.
