How long does a comprehensive eye exam usually take?
A. It varies, depending on various factors. However the average time in the chair with our Optometrist will range from 20-40 minutes. We conduct very important eye and overall health related screening procedures prior to seeing the Optometrists. These are crucial aspects to the comprehensive eye exam and it is many of these tests that you DO NOT receive when you get these so-called “sight tests” at optical centres.
