How long does a commission take to complete from the time it is ordered?
This depends on size. My work is extremely detailed and I take a great deal of time and effort to build the picture up into something I would be happy to sell or keep for myself. At least 1 calendar month should be allowed for A5 or A4 but this may be longer if the piece is of a large size (A3 or above). You will always be given an estimated time of completion before the work begins or you pay any money. On some occasions, problems may arise. Whilst this is unusual, you will always be notified if your piece is going to take longer than originally stated. If you are especially desperate for the drawing by a given date then please do mention this at the time of ordering and every effort will be made to have it ready for you. I have often been called upon for those last minute Birthday and Christmas present ideas!
