How long do you wait between power washing a deck and staining and sealing?
I sprinkle Ajax ( or Comet) on my deck when it starts to rain. Then I shuffle my feet as I walk across it. The grit adds traction, and the mold comes off. Looks like green paste. Then the rain washes it away. (You could substitute a hose if it’s not predicted to rain). The good thing about abrasive cleaners is the grit gives you traction. It’s like putting salt on snow and ice.
