How long do you have to leave earings in your ear after ou get them pierced?
You need to leave the studs used to pierce your ears in place for six weeks until your ears are healed. Your ears will heal around whatever is in them. The posts on the studs used to pierce your ears are slightly thicker than the posts on regular earrings so the holes in your ears will be slightly larger than the posts on the regular earrings you will be putting in them. Having the holes slightly larger than the posts makes it much easier to put them in your ears. Although you can remove the piercing studs after six weeks, you should continue to wear light weight earrings all the time, 24/7, until your ears have been pierced for at least six months. After that you can wear whatever earrings you like.
