How long do volunteers normally stay?
We have changed our volunteer program to require a minimum of 12 weeks. Volunteers hoping for a short introduction to life at the Sanctuary typically choose to stay 3-4 months. Those interested in working with higher maintenance animals and getting a more thorough understanding of how our facility functions should stay from 6 months to a year. Rarely, returning volunteers stay for shorter periods of time.
