It could of possible lived longer but unfortunately, it was accidentally killed. Most toads in the wild don’t live more than a year or two. Frogs have a slightly shorter lifespan. The oldest recorded Bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana) was 16 years old. In captivity Bullfrogs normally live about 5-9 years.
