How long do the side effects of Wellbutrin last?
Don’t be afraid to go back to the pharmacist or call to get a consult. Just because a side effect isn’t listed, does not mean it can’t happen. Length of time of side effects varies from person to person. I was nauseous on Wellbutrin and it lasted about a week. Another drug we tried gave me numb and tingling hands and feet and a month later there was still tingling – I went off the med. Also, don’t be afraid to talk to your doctor. It may be that the dosage needs to be adjusted. If that doesn’t work, there are lots of other meds out there. Finally, make sure you rule out other causes. Caffeine, dietary changes and stress could all cause trembling. A dairy (including foods and meds and any side effects) can help you and your doctor trace the source of the problem. I always throw in a suggestion of nontrarditional remedies. Meditation (there are lots of CDs you can buy to help) is great for so many issues and can help you feel more in control.
