Typically, a can of gel fuel will burn for approximately 3 hours. Always be sure to shake the can well before you light it for optimum performance. Each can produces about 3,000 BTU per hour. When using 3 cans in an average size room, it can raise the temperature by about 3-4 degrees. An independent heat source is recommended.
