How long do the batteries last during a power failure?
Standard coin cell batteries will provide approximately 4 nights of lighting during a power failure if the safety light is located in an area where daylight provides enough light to turn them off. If the PowerSURE Power Failure light is in a windowless room area where no daylight is available, the power failure light will turn on whenever there is a loss of electricity. The night light will be on whenever the room lights are off and the electricity supply is normal. In this case, the coin cells will last approximately 30 consecutive hours before becoming exhausted. When fully charged, the optional rechargeable batteries will last for approximately 4-5 hours during a power failure and will take 24-36 hours to fully recharge once power returns.
