I’m a teacher and in all of the schools I’ve taught at, we always get Thanksgiving, the following Friday, and the following weekend off. Sometimes, we also got the Wednesday before off, too. You could always go to the Orange County, Florida public schools website and check one of the school calendars. All the public schools in the county will have the same days off.
