How long do screen printing inks last outdoors?
This is not an easy question to answer as there are many types of screen inks with different lightfast properties. As a general rule UV cured inks will last up to 2-3 years in most outdoor situations, BUT if it is a north facing aspect of less than 90 degrees then the fade resistance is much lower. There are specific UV curing inks that are warranted for up to 5 years in certain applications.
