How long do rear truck window graphics last with winter?
No window graphics that are painted, or attached to a vehicle window can ever last very well. This is due to the difference in the expansion/contraction difference in the type of glass, and the material used in the making of the graphics. Paints tend to crack, flake off, and can also fade due to ultraviolet light of the sun. Laminates will crack, peel, and also fade. The best paints that are designed for weather wear can still be a problem, but you can lessen this problem by having it painted in reverse on the inside of the window. Laminate applications can also be put on the inside to help prolong the inevitable. Otherwise, you would just have to take ‘potluck’ in what you get, and hope that the job was done with the very best of everything to last as long as possible. I have seen some that wouldn’t even last one harsh winter, while others lasted several.
