How long do pet mice live?
Mice generally live 2-3 years. Albinos don’t necessarily live shorter lives, but they are more susceptible to illness. I’ve had about 50 mice over my 16 years, and the colored are usually healthier. My white ones usually got mites (and died), while the colored ones tended to die from congestive heart failure (they get really puffy and lazy); however, every color can get cancer. If you feed them lots of veggies and a little meat each week (cause they’re omnivores), they’ll be healthy whatever color they are. As long as they are active and happy, they’ll live at least two years no doubt. Toy ideas: http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm http://www.rmca.org/Articles/toys.htm http://www.rattycorner.
