How long do I need to fast for fasting bloodwork?
If fasting bloodwork is ordered, patients should be fasting for ten to twelve hours. Small amounts of water are permitted. Should I take my medication before coming in? Unless your physician instructs you otherwise, you should take all medication as usual. Do I need to bring anything with me?
