I would. Generally federal checks can be cashed for up to one year. The stimulus check is special in that if you lose it, it cannot be replaced.

Gov’t checks usually have a note on them that only valid for one year, if I remember correctly. Do cash it as soon as you can though, even if only put the money into your own account instead of spending it.
