How long do i bake plain pork chops and at what temperature?
I prefer to simmer mine after searing them gently on both sides. Then I add Mrs. Dash seasoning (lightly) and add just a bit of vinegar to tenderize the meat. I turn the stovetop heat down to “low” and put a lid on the pot. I let it cook over low heat for about 30 minutes, checking at 15 minutes to make sure it isn’t cooking dry. This method gives you well-cooked but moist pork chops that are, if I do say so myself, a treat to eat!
I cooked in restaurants in southeren Alabama for about 6 years and I will tell you my recipe what I do is get some this stuff called better than boquline it is a base get chicken it works the best and then mix the chicken base with some water get some onions and green bell peppers and julienne them and put them in with your chicken broth then get your pork chope season them with salt&pepper and sear them on each side and lock in the seasonings and then put your chops in the pan with the chicken base and veggies making sure that the chops are submerged in the water and wrap the pan in foil and cook them for 2&1/2 hrs at 300% and you will have the most tender chops you have ever had they will fall off the bone when you go to pull thme out of the water and the taste so good with the onions and peppers and chicken broth…..this is really a good recipe copy it if you want you will have award winning chops every time if you do them this way
