How long do formals take after a wedding ceremony?
For small bridal parties 30-45 minutes. For larger bridal parties 45-60 minutes. After the ceremony it’s very important not to get too distracted greeting people, that time will come, but the sooner everyone migrates to the reception the sooner we can start formals. The bridal party knows that photos are expected of them, but if you want certain aunts or uncles or others in formals try to notify them before the event so you don’t miss out on photos.
