Chlamydia does not tend to cause greenish discharge – it’s more likely to be gonorrhoea which causes that. You will have been given 1000mg of azithromycin as a one off dose to take, and depending on the strength of the tablets they had in stock, you may have taken either 2 or 4 tablets. If the discharge was due to chlamydia, the azithromycin would have cleared it by now, so it’s likely to be due to something else, perhaps gonorrhoea. I would advise that you get in touch with them for your results, and if they say everything is clear then ask for another appointment for further investigations.
