How long do canon ink cartridges dry up usually, after being opened?
Be sure to print something out at least once per week to keep the ink flowing. Here are some tips to extend the life of the ink cartridges: * Use the Draft Mode – If you don’t have to turn in a nice-looking copy for a class or presentation, then don’t put your ink into it. Use the draft mode to conserve your ink and thus get more pages. * Choose the Cartriges – If you know you are not going to need to print any color text or graphics on your page, then be sure to deselect the color cartridges (print only in black and white) for that job. Believe it or not, the printer will take some of your color ink to make black ink. * Print only the pages you need – Often times people will decide to print an entire webpage or document instead of only printing what they need.
