How long did it take God to create the world?
How long did it take God to create man? People ask these questions usually because they doubt that it is possible to create all that there is in several days (i.e. less than 7!) and also because there is “evidence” for evolution, and also because there is “evidence” showing that certain things in the universe or universes are several billion years old. Before I try to explain what my thoughts are on how long it took God to create the world, or to create man, I would like to look at several things as they have been or documented to have been. If somebody asked a Physician today, how long it would take to cure a person with full blown AIDS, or cancer, or leprosy, or whatever “incurable” disease, he or she would probably say, it is not possible to cure such a person. They may also say, we can try to contain the disease,… or in the case of cancer, that we could try chemotherapy and hope for the best.
