You can store breastmilk in the fridge for up to 2 days, and in the freezer for up to 4 months. It spoils very quickly at room temperature. Medela makes good freezer bags that are pre-labeled and triple sealed. You should test the milk before you give it to your child each time to make sure it is still good.
