I don’t live in the UK, not a citizen of the UK, so i am nowhere near an expert on that. But a friend from the UK told me that terrorists or people suspected of terrorism could be held indefinitely, without actually charging them with a crime, without a trial. I found that hard to believe, but he insisted it was true.
