How long can/should institutions keep the DLHE data?

0

The data should be kept only as long as is necessary. If the purpose is research then data may be kept for a long time. The completed questionnaires need not be kept beyond the time of a possible audit being carried out. Institutions should therefore keep either a hardcopy or electronic version of the questionnaire or telephone script for each individual leaver for one year after the data is returned to HESA.
