How long can my 12 week old puppy hold his bladder?
Our puppy was able to hold her bladder about 3-4 hours when she was 12 weeks old. I would feed and water her in the morning. Give her about 1/2 hour then take her outside. She would do her business and then go in her pen until I came home for lunch about 4 hours later. The first week or so she had accidents in her pen (even though we blocked 1/2 of it like they say to). She didn’t have accidents every day, but more than not. By the time she about 14-15 weeks old she could hold it until I came home with no problems. We stopped keeping her in a cage when she was about 17 weeks old. I haven’t had a problem with her since.
